My robot girl character, the homicidal Rema 0. This is basically my AVcon art entry, except I added that hard white underlighting. I regret not pushing ahead and adding it in time for my entry, because I think it might have helped define some of the detail and contrast the printed version was lacking. (I didn't win, obviously )
This was a heck of a lot of work I'm pretty proud of myself for getting the character finished in time. She's modelled from scratch with edit polys and meshsmooths, partially rigged (enough to get her into the pose, although I wired the pistons on the back of her legs so they work properly as she swivels her ankles about) and lots of gradient ramp work to get the colours the way I wanted them to look. Overall I'm really pleased with the final outcome and it's been a fun and learning filled little project.
Media Used : 3DS MAX 6, Photoshop 5.5 for final compositing

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
